Nigerian Comedienne, Emmanuella Wins Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2021

Emmanuella Samuel popularly known as Emmunella is a famous Nigerian kid comedienne and a YouTube personality who was discovered by Mark Angel Comedy skit, a short comedy video published every Friday on YouTube.

The star kid began her comedy journey right from a very tender age and joined the Mark Angel crew in 2015 at the age of 5 years. Emmanuella rose to fame after featuring in the comedy video “This is Not My Real Face Oh”. The young comedienne has bagged so many awards which includes; G Influence Niger Delta Special Talent Award, City People Award, Nigerian Entertainment Award for Best Comic Actress 2015, Princess of Comedy Award (Australia); and Prominent Kid Comedienne Award (Australia) 2016. 

In the same year, Emmanuella was invited to star on CNN in where she gave an interactive interview.

On Tuesday, 16th of March, 2021, she won Nickelodeon’s Kid Choice Awards 2021 for favourite African Social Media star.

Emanuella was nominated alongside Ikorodu Bois, Magician Wian Van Den Berg from South Africa, Uganda’s Ghetto Kids, Kenya’s social media sensation Elsa Majimbo, and South Africa’s Bonang Matheba.

She was first nominated for the Kids Choice Awards in 2018 alongside Davido but they lost to Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo.

The intelligent, smart, comic actress took to her official instagram page and announced her victory. She also thanked her family and fans for their support.

She wrote;

“Congratulations to me as I won the Favourite African Social Media Star category at the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2021🙈.I am so happy to be a winner, thank you! To all my fans out there, I say thank you. To all those who voted for me, I love you so much, this win would not have been possible without you😍.”
