The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is a Para-military organization and the Lead Agency in road traffic administration and safety management in Nigeria.
The FRSC mission is to Regulate, Enforce and Coordinate all Road Traffic and Safety Management activities through: o Sustained public enlightenment, o Promotion of stakeholder’s cooperation, o Robust data management, o Improved vehicle administration, o Prompt rescue services, o Effective patrol operation.The corps also have the responsibilities for; preventing or minimizing accidents on the highway; clearing obstructions on any part of the highways; educating drivers, motorists and other members of the public generally on the proper use of the highways, designing and producing the driver’s license to be used by various categories of vehicle operators, etc.
Below are the various positions to be applied for in the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) 2021/2022 recruitment:
1. Officer Cadre Category:
a. Assistant Routs Commander (CONPASS 08)
2. Marshal Inspectorate Cadre:
a. Marshal Inspector I (COMPASS 08)
b. Marshal Inspector II (COMPASS 07)
c. Marshal Inspector III (COMPASS 06)
3. Road Marshal Assistant Cadre:
a. Road Mashal Assistant I (COMPASS 05)
b. Road Mashal Assistant I (COMPASS 04)
c. Road Mashal Assistant I (COMPASS 03)
d. Artisans and Tradesmen.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Be a Nigerian by birth.
2. Computer literacy and possession of valid National Driver’s Licence shall be an added advantage for all cadres.
3. Applicant must be medically fit.
4. Applicant must not be less than 18 and above 30 years. However, 35 years will be considered for Medical Doctors and Articulated Vehicle Drivers.
5. All applicants must be single.
6. Applicant height must not be less than 1.7 meters for male and 1.6 meters for female.
7. Must possess the following qualifications according to your position of interest requirement:
a) Bsc,
b) HND,
c) ND, NCE, SSCE and related qualifications.
8. Male applicants must have a fully expanded chest measurement of not less than 0.87metres.
9. Applicants be free from any form of financial embarrassment, be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.
10. Applicants must not have tattoo on any part of their body.
