President Buhari Swears In Justice Ariwoola As Acting Chief Justice Of Nigeria (CJN)

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has on Monday, June 27th, 2022 sworn in Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as the new acting Chief Justice of Nigeria ( CJN).

This came after the Chief Justice of Nigeria now (former), Justice Tanko Muhammed resigned from his position as the Chief Justice of Nigeria on Sunday, June 26th.

Justice Ariwoola swearing in ceremony was administered by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Justice of the Supreme Court,Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and some top government officials were present at the ceremony.

At the end of the swearing in ceremony, Buhari urged the newly appointed Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ariwoola to always remain faithful and bear true allegiance to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

President Buhari went further and reminded him to put all his efforts in the management of the Judiciary as 2023 general election is fast approaching.
